The collaboration adds another record to the musical history shared by Sarkodie and KiDi. The two artistes previously worked together on “IDK,” a song featured on KiDi’s 2026 album Where Do We Go From Here.
While Sarkodie is recognised for his command of Twi and English rap, KiDi has established himself as one of Ghana’s leading contemporary singers. Their individual musical backgrounds make this partnership particularly interesting to listeners who appreciate collaborations between rappers and vocalists.
“Deja Vu” also introduces Sarkodie’s upcoming EP, which features five announced tracks, including “Antigua,” “Nobody,” “Cold” and “Promises.” The project adds to an extensive discography that includes Highest, Black Love, No Pressure and Jamz.
The release comes during an eventful period for the Tema-born rapper, who is also preparing for Rapperholic 2026 at the Baba Yara Sports Stadium in Kumasi on October 24.
Over the years, Sarkodie has built an international following through his music, live performances and collaborations with African and international performers. His consistency has helped maintain his position among the most recognised Ghanaian rappers.
For KiDi, appearing alongside Sarkodie provides another opportunity to connect with hip-hop audiences while extending his impressive catalogue of collaborations.
With “Deja Vu” now available, fans of both musicians have another Ghanaian collaboration to add to their playlists as anticipation builds for Sarkodie’s forthcoming EP.
